Collector sets of putters have great potential value besides the pride of ownership. Prescription Putting is offering collectors a limited edition set of its first five putters. There will only be 100 of the first putters in the Collector's Edition. Each putter in the set will be labeled similar to art work; 1/100, 2/100, 3/100, etc.
If Prescription Putting becomes a household word, the purchaser can expect value to increase for the Collector's Edition. If we fail, then the line will have historical value. Either way, we anticipate value for the purchaser. One might even consider this an IPO investment in the sense that it is an initial public offering of our product.
A quick survey of eBay will confirm the value of collector putters. One such putter was offered for $10,000. Sets of first run putters of established companies are offered for up to $7000. Sets of vintage putters from one company were offered for $40,000. Unique putters are offered at a premium. One such putter designed to take the ball out of the hole was offered for $150,000? We thought the value of a putter was to have the putter put the ball in the hole.
Having witnessed the nature of the collector's market we are making an Initial Private Offering (IPO) of a different kind. We are offering an IPO of a special Collector's Edition of all our original launch designs for $1200. There will be 5 putters with matching head covers.

The IPO edition will be finished different from our retail single sale model. There will be a yellow colored medallion weight with the Collector's Edition wording. Each copy will be numbered, i.e.; 1/100, 2/100, 3/100 to 100/100. We expect the Collector's Edition to appreciate over time. The sets that do not sell with the IPO will be offered at a higher price as time goes on.
The original 100 purchasers will have opportunity to add to their collection as new putters are introduced. This offer will be extended to subsequent verified holders of the entire collection edition who register with us their interest by email.
These putters are not intended for play, but will be suitable for this purpose. We think the value will be in maintaining the mint condition over time.
